Work, Work, Work, Work, Work

I was in the middle of a series on the theory of credentialism and Lower Ed when it became time to decorate around here for the book releases.

The next two installments are written, though, and will post over the next three weeks.

In the meantime, I’ve been up to a few things.

First, you can see my head move in a clip of my recent talk at Framingham State University:

I also wrote down some of my standard counseling (I hate advice) for my students considering graduate school. It went a little viral. With so much interest, I’m sharing a link and welcome people to use it as they see fit.

I also had cause to view Ava DuVernay’s  new documentary “13th”. It’s perfect for almost any undergraduate sociology course. I plan to screen it in a sociology of race course. I wrote up some discussion questions others might find useful.
