Twitter Tactics Talk at Emory’s Center for Injury Control

The regular readers know that I make a habit of posting powerpoints before a talk. I find it saves participants from copious note-taking. That makes for a more engaged room.

In the presentation I mention several resources. They follow:

#followanadult

London School of Economics Twitter Primer (in my opinion, the best one out there)

Forbes’ “10 Types of Twitter Users”. It’s a bit acerbic and conservative but the summation of analytics is useful.

Tweet Aggregators include Storify, Chirpstory, Archivist

Some accounts, both individual and organizations, that I think get it exactly right:

Scholar Sunday

JoVan Every

Atlantic Station

Woodson Institute

New Faculty Majority
